In this new series, we'll be highlighting some of our favorite communities in our very own Central Florida area. As someone who was born and raised in Central Florida, I have definitely seen a lot of beautiful and intriguing communities nearby. Today we're highlighting Lake Nona, a beautiful community nestled in southeast Orange County, and just a few of the many fantastic things it has to offer!
Beautiful Architecture
If you really enjoy beautiful architecture and uniquely designed real estate, then Lake Nona might just be the place for you! You can experience this in Bellanona Grande Estate, Eagle Creek, and Laureate Park, just to name a few. One of my favorites has to be Laureate Park. The architecture can be different from house to house, and yet the neighborhoods all seem to flow together seamlessly. Not to mention how close-knit the community is. Lake Nona's real estate is truly unique. You can buy anything from a 1,600-square-foot townhome to a 10,000-square-foot, multi-million dollar mansion (you know, if your budget allows).
Fantastic Restaurants
For such a small community, Lake Nona has a lot to offer in unique and delicious treats! Canvas Restaurant & Market has great food with an amazing waterfront view. Nona Blue seems to be a popular hangout spot for locals with amazing chips and salsa and an even more amazing New York strip steak. I could write several blogs on all the different unique and delicious restaurants there are to visit. These are just a couple of the many tasty options Lake Nona has to offer!

You will find a common theme throughout most of Lake Nona – healthier living, a close-knit community, and family friendly living. Lake Nona has community gardens within some of the neighborhoods that allow residents to plant vegetables and share their crops with one another. There are also many playgrounds and athletic parks sprinkled throughout most of the neighborhoods. These amenities offer a place for families to play with their kids, connect with their neighbors, and live a healthier lifestyle.
